DCA's Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping
All shipments are FOB point of origin. We ship FedEx and UPS Ground unless instructed otherwise. Overnight service is available at additional cost. Shipping charges are added to each order.

Shipping is based off of the Supplier/ Manufacturer having the item In Stock. Same Day Shipping after 3:00 p.m. is available IF the items are currently in Stock.

Return Policy and Procedure

  • With DCA's prior authorization, returns may be made within 30 days of purchase for full credit. Instruments must be unused and in their original package.

  • To receive return authorization and to insure proper credit, you must call your Inside Sales/Service representative and request our Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. When requesting an RGA, it will be necessary to provide:

    1. Our product number
    2. Your P.O. number
    3. The reason for the return
  • A restocking and inspection charge of 15% will be charged on all authorized returns more than 30 days after our invoice date. A restocking and inspection charge of 25% will be charged on all authorized returns more than 60 days after our invoice date. No returns will be accepted more than 90 days after our invoice date. A restocking charge may be assessed on any return that in our determination was not an error of DCA.

  • Only products received in new, saleable condition will be accepted. All products must be unused and in the original packaging.

  • Product that was special (engraved, etched) or custom ordered, discontinued, marked or altered in any way will not be accepted for return or credit. Marked product includes affixing a label on the product or packaging. Note: Some companies affix their own internal bar code label to our product. These are not returnable.

  • Custom sterile kits are not returnable. That is, any kit, sterile instrument or sterile component that is not in our current catalog.

  • Standard sterile kits (those in our catalog) may be returned up to 30 days provided that the sterility of the inner packs is intact and the product is unopened and resaleable.

  • Most cleaning products are not returnable.

  • DCA requires that products be shipped back promptly after customer requests authorization to return. We must have the products returned to us within 30 days of the issuance of the RGA number.

  • Companies that return product without referencing the RGA number or obtaining an RGA prior to shipment will receive a form letter explaining DCA's policy along with the return of the product to the customer at their expense.

  • Credit issued for returned product will be based solely on the purchase price less any applicable restocking charges. Customer's attempt to take credit at current higher prices will be denied the higher credit.

Damaged Shipments
All shipments should be opened, counted and examined immediately upon delivery to assure that everything is in order.

If damage is evident at time of delivery, require that the delivery person acknowledge, in writing, the extent of the damage or loss, both on your copy and his copy of the freight bill and his copy of the delivery receipt. You have the right to refuse a questionable delivery.

Damaged freight claims must be made by the receiving customer. If there are questions regarding damaged shipments, telephone DCA immediately.

Shortages
All claims for shortages must be made immediately upon receipt. No claims for shortages will be accepted after 10 days from date of receipt.

Liability
The purchaser assumes all risk and liability from the use of these products. DCA disclaims any liability for incidents and consequential damages such as lost profits or revenues or interruptions to operations of customers. If a defect is claimed, DCA's sole responsibility is limited to either the replacement of the material, repair, or at its option a credit for the purchase price.

This is the limit of the warranty and no other warranty is expressed or implied.
