dentalcorp’s greatest strength is our people. Our Practices are leaders in their communities and passionate about attracting and retaining the industry’s top talent. We share this passion and are committed to investing in the success of all our team members. We enable the best to be even better by providing them with tools and resources to help them achieve their personal and professional ambitions.

Last month, dentalcorp hosted its first Associate Focus Group event in Toronto. Associates from across Canada gathered to meet with dentalcorp’s Senior Leadership Team and dentist Partners to offer valuable insights into the dentalcorp Associate experience, while learning about the future direction of the company and its career development opportunities.

Over the period of two days, Associates participated in insightful group discussions, followed by dinner with guest speakers. Dr. Bruce Freeman, international lecturer and DC Institute Faculty Member, kicked-off the evenings with a talk on how to improve both the patient and team experience through mindful communication. Dr. Sally Safa followed with a discussion on the science behind mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and mindful leadership. Associates had further opportunities to network and share experiences with fellow peers throughout the event.

“What we’re here to do today is not refine a career path, but to define a career path – and that career path has never existed before in Canada,” said Guy Amini, President of dentalcorp. “It’s a career path for professionals as part of a network. At dentalcorp, what we’re most interested in is always innovating and elevating the profession to places it has never been before.”

“It is impressive to see that dentalcorp is not only profitable but also an emotionally intelligent organization,” said Dr. Bhoomika Piplani, dentalcorp Associate since 2017.  “The event made us feel appreciated, respected and part of a community.  And to be honest, that’s all we want as humans, patients or team members – respect, transparency and a sense of belonging."
