Spotlight on Megan Boyer, Oulton College, Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Recently, Megan Boyer learned that she was one of three students from across Canada selected to receive dentalcorp’s Academic Excellence Award. Each year, one graduating student from each of dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental assisting programs from accredited institutions receives full program tuition reimbursement and a position in a dentalcorp practice.
Megan is graduating from Oulton College’s Diploma in Dental Hygiene program. She was thrilled to learn that she was one of the three successful applicants for the 2021 Academic Excellence Award. She shared with us her thoughts on being selected: “This award puts me years ahead, financially, and allows me to be able to focus on my family,” said Boyer.
Megan’s career goals include doing everything she can and seizing every opportunity to forge a successful career path in her chosen field. “My goal is to establish a long, healthy, reputable career as a dental hygienist,” said Boyer. “I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity with dentalcorp!”
The dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award is an annual program available to all graduating students of Canadian accredited universities or colleges who are majoring in dental assisting, dental hygiene, or dentistry. Students can apply for the 2022 award beginning January 4th, 2022 at acadamicexcellenceaward.com.
