Support Centre Spotlight: Adriano G.

We’re shining the spotlight on Adriano G., Manager, Patient Recare, at dentalcorp’s Support Centre. Adriano tells us about having the autonomy to drive change and provide support in his role, thinking outside of the box, and the importance of family.


Tell us about your background — how long have you been with dentalcorp, and what were you doing before you joined?

I’ve been with dentalcorp for two years as a Manager of Patient Recare. Before joining the company, I worked for 13 years in various merchandising and operations roles for a major Canadian retailer. 

Can you tell me a bit about your role and what a typical day looks like?

Our focus is Patient Recare. We ensure our patients prioritize their oral health and return to the practice on time for their hygiene appointment or recall exam, as prescribed by their doctor. We also support practice teams in optimizing their patient schedules and help them understand how they can best leverage automation for regular patient communications.

What motivates you in your role? 

I'm motivated by the autonomy to help drive positive change and the opportunity to provide a high level of support to the practice teams. It’s always encouraging to know that we have the autonomy to be innovative and think creatively at dentalcorp. 

What advice do you have for new team members joining dentalcorp’s Support Centre?

dentalcorp is a very fast-paced environment. With a strong work ethic, you don't have to be afraid to think outside the four walls – it's where some of the best solutions are born. No one is limited to what has already been done. Here you can try new things and have the opportunity to prove they can work. As long as our patients and practices remain the top priority, we’re moving in the right direction. 

How do you like to spend your spare time?

I love spending time with my wife and children. I have an amazing wife and two daughters, and my life revolves around them. My downtime isn’t defined by spending money on material things. It’s the simplicity of being around my family and friends. Those experiences together are priceless.
