Hygiene Coordinator - Landmark Dental Centre

Schedule:   20 hours per week. Shifts will vary.

The wage for this Hygiene Coordinator position is $25.00-$30.00/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. 

Please note that this is a replacement job opening. 

 

Your Role: 

  • Optimize the daily Dental Hygiene appointment schedule(s) to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps 
  • Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records 
  • Encourage patient acceptance of the dental treatment plan by meeting their needs, answering questions and creating value for the proposed treatment 
  • Present treatment options, review payment plans, answer questions and overcome objections to motivate patients to case acceptance 
  • Build strong relationships with patients to ensure trust and loyalty 
  • Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments 
  • Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner 

 

About You: 

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Administrator is required 
  • Knowledge and understanding of oral treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required 
  • Experience with dental software programs is required
  • Clinical background is considered an asset
