Corporate Development Analyst (Bilingual)

The successful candidate will work on-site 4 days a week from our Toronto office at 181 Bay Street and 1 day a week in their home office. Working on the Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for developing and refining various financial models, and performing due diligence on prospective acquisition targets.
In this role, you will
Gather necessary data for evaluation of potential acquisitions
Evaluate the financial viability and valuation of potential dental practice acquisitions through detailed financial analysis.
Assist with the preparation of business case summaries and recommendations regarding potential transactions.
Assist with the deal documentation and transaction closing process through collaboration and partnering with various internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the analysis of various special projects where assigned.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent.
2-3 years relevant work experience in Big 4 audit or valuations, investment banking, private equity or transaction advisory
Completion of, or working towards a professional designation (CPA/CBV/CFA) is preferred
Motivated individual with a true passion for finance and M&A.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively and clearly with colleagues and senior management is essential
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in Excel
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Bilingualism in French and English required

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 CAD annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
