Senior Director of Operations, Ontario

The Opportunity 

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape the performance and future of a significant Ontario portfolio within Dentalcorp, North America’s leading and fastest-growing network of dental practices. 

As Senior Director of Operations, you will work closely with practice leaders, clinicians, Regional Managers, and cross-functional partners to drive operational excellence, strengthen team capability, and create the conditions for practices to thrive. 

Reporting to the Vice President, Operations East, you will have the autonomy to influence regional strategy, elevate performance, and make a meaningful impact on the teams, practices, and patients we support.

In This Role, You Will 

• Lead regional performance across a portfolio of Ontario practices, with accountability for business health, execution, and patient experience

• Coach and develop Regional Managers to strengthen leadership capability and drive consistent execution

• Translate enterprise priorities into practical regional strategies that support growth, consistency, and operational excellence

• Use data, financial insight, and operational judgment to identify risks, surface opportunities, and guide priorities

• Build trusted partnerships with clinicians, Practice Managers, and cross-functional teams to support strong decision-making

• Champion accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through growth and change

What You’ll Bring 

• Post-secondary education in business, healthcare administration, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required

• 8+ years leading multi-site operations in dental, healthcare, retail, or another service-driven environment is required

• Strong financial acumen, including P&L, forecasting, budgeting, KPIs, and performance management is required

• A track record of delivering sustainable growth through operational discipline and strong execution

• Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills across functions and levels

• Strong judgment, organization, and project execution skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

• A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and flexibility to travel within Ontario, including occasional overnight stays is required

The salary range for this position is $145,000 CAD to $185,000 CAD annually (plus a bonus of up to 20% and competitive total rewards and benefits package). Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
