Dr. Mary-Anne MacDonald

Dr. Mary-Anne MacDonald has been serving the Halifax community for 20 years. A native of Halifax, she laid the groundwork for her career at St. Mary’s University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Western Ontario. Dr. MacDonald has enriched her expertise through coursework at the Dawson Center in Florida and TIDE for implant certification in Toronto.

She has also completed the Master Program in Dental Sleep and has earned the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Her professional journey has seen a particular focus on dental sleep medicine, addressing both adult and pediatric concerns. Dr. MacDonald’s interest in this area extends to myofunctional therapy, targeting issues like mouth breathing and snoring, which supports her holistic approach to dental wellness.
