Dr. Mohammad Javaid

Dr. Mohammad Javaid completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Health Sciences, Pakistan. To further his knowledge in basic sciences and research, he completed a Masters in Dental Sciences from McGill University. Following completion of the graduate program, Dr. Javaid then embarked on a journey for clinical excellence and enrolled in Diploma in Periodontics, a 3-year clinical residency program with a focus on advanced surgical techniques in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at UBC, Simultaneously, he started his second Master’s in Craniofacial Sciences at UBC.

Dr. Javaid has a focus on lifelong learning and professional development. He has published many articles in peer reviewed international journals and has contributed to multiple book chapters in internationally published books in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry. He spends most of his time in private practice and is also following his passion for teaching. He is currently Clinical Assistant professor at the University of Alberta with the Graduate Periodontics Department.
