WHAT THIS AWARD MEANS TO ME

This award was an important motivator throughout my studies, and receiving recognition for all my efforts and hard work has been extremely rewarding. The financial support will help me with relocation to British Columbia and getting set up in a new city.

WHAT I AM MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO

I'm most excited to begin providing dental hygiene care to the people of Vernon and, through that work, build meaningful connections with members of the community.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD I GIVE OTHER STUDENTS

Anyone who is eligible to apply for this award should do so. This award pushed me to study hard, get out of my comfort zone and involve myself in extracurricular activities, which will benefit you no matter if you get the award or not.
